The "Friends of the Library" of the Wyoming Free Library are dedicated to supporting and strengthening library services and programs for our citizens. Our membership is open to anyone who supports these goals. Working together, we hope to improve the quality of life in our community and to enrich the education and knowledge base for all.
We do this by sponsoring fund raising activities, such as book sales, theater trips and other county-wide efforts; volunteering our services (working in the library and leading children's reading programs); and supporting such programs as the book discussion club at our library.
We meet at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, in the Miller Community Room of the library. We do not meet in July, August or December. Our nominal dues is $5.00 per year and helps to defray operating costs.
Please join us in this rewarding work. Supporting an educated citizenry should be the concern of all.
